Internship Opportunities
The RCD hosts an Environment Education Internship for college students and opportunity youth over 18. The internship primarily supports our Watershed Education program, the Watershed Connection, but interns will also have the opportunity to get involved in other RCD education and conservation projects. We seek new interns on a quarterly basis and applications can be submitted here. Spring 2025 Deadline: January 4th, 2025
Wild Willow hosts a Regenerative Agriculture Education Internship for those interested in our education programs at the farm. This intern will mainly assist with the farm’s field trip and group activity program which aims to educate K – 12 students about regenerative agriculture, healthy soils, sustainable practices for producing food, and what students can do to make a difference. This is conveyed through two- or three-hour hands-on field trip experiences exploring Wild Willow Farm’s animals, compost systems, seeds, plants, and additional farm information. We seek new interns on a quarterly basis and applications can be sent to areli.perez@rcdsandiego.org.
Wild Willow Farm also hosts a 3-month field internship each season. Interns gain hands-on experience with all the tasks involved in running a small, regenerative farm, and benefit from a share of the harvest and free workshops and courses. To learn more and apply, click here.
