Community Programs

The RCD works across the county with a wide range of residents and partners to develop and deliver programs that conserve our natural resources. Our community-based conservation programs span from farming and gardening, to pollinator habitat, to wildfire prevention and education.

We manage the largest community garden in the county, with 210 garden plots, six ¼ acre mini-farms, and a demonstration garden. Learn more

We manage the programs of the FSCSDC, including wildfire hazard reduction programs and education, resources for community Fire Safe Councils, and bi-monthly FSCSDC meetings. Learn more
